This will be where I document my crosses using Asil, Ganoi and Malay. Once the rain lets up I'll post some photos of the birds I will be using and what I hope to accomplish. Stay tuned.

Those sound like some excellent breeds to use in crossing. Good luck finding some good Ganoi, though. I hear it's murder to find good ones anywhere, let alone the States. If you haven't already, you might want to try contacting Dr. Everett in SC. He's an experienced breeder of Asil and he also has bantam Malay (least he used to...don't know if he still does).

I have built the pens and am now deciding how I will pair them up. I have a Malay cock I will be putting with 1 maybe 2 of the older hens. I am also looking at putting one of the cocks over a Ganoi hen and a Malay hen. Should have final pairings set by Jan. I'll get some pics up really soon.

I'm very curious about your results also. I have a little side project that I'm going to start working on this year involving orloff, sumatra and jersey giants and cochins. I'm wanting a really hardy, tall, heavy bird with feathered legs and a peacomb

I have considered trying this cross, myself. I have some asil and Thai games and thought their station and feather quality could help improve some orloff stock. Please keep us updated on your results.
