The Livestock Conservancy lists the Russian Orloff as Critical on the Conservation Priority List.
Critical: Fewer than 500 breeding birds in the United States, with five or fewer primary breeding flocks (50 birds or more), and estimated global population less than 1,000.
I would like to do a dry-run census to get a basic idea of where the Russian Orloff stands here in the US. I will be taking this information & making a dated chart which will only include the number of breeding pairs based on the responses I receive from members and non-members. I would like to get as accurate numbers as possible as this will help us in our Mission to bring the Russian Orloff forward. This will be only for the Spangled Russian Orloff Large Fowl at this time. Thanks
